The Santa Rosa Police Department relayed the news that Miriam Helm, the 78-year-old woman reported missing yesterday, has been found and confirmed to be safe. This update is a relief to the Santa Rosa community summoned earlier to assist in the search for the missing elder.
Helm was last seen at approximately 5:30 p.m. yesterday in the area of the Memory Care Unit at Vineyard at Fountaingrove, where she resided. Her disappearance triggered an urgent response from officials and residents alike. According to Hoodline, who detailed the situation's specifics earlier in the day, she wore a long-sleeve green sweater, a blue undershirt, and blue jeans.
Details regarding the circumstances of Helm's whereabouts during her period of absence have not been disclosed. Nevertheless, the police's brief message expressed gratitude towards all those engaged in the search, "Thank you to everyone involved in the search," thus ending the widespread concern noted in the update from the Santa Rosa Police Department.
