
Shirley Jenkins, the 84-year-old woman missing since last Sunday, has been found, according to a brief update from the Georgia State Patrol. No further details about her condition or the circumstances of her discovery have been released, as reported by FOX 5 Atlanta.
The DeKalb County Police Department had issued a Mattie's Call for Shirley Jenkins, who was last seen in the 400 block of North Candler Road. Reports from Black Enterprise indicated her last known location as 450 N North Candler Road, possibly her residence. Jenkins has poor eyesight and shows signs of memory loss and confusion, leading authorities to be concerned for her safety.
Before being located, Jenkins was last seen wearing gray sweatpants, a gray shirt, a black coat, a black hat, and white shoes, she may also have been traveling in a 2015 gray Toyota Corolla, a detail that Snoopy Newell, who identified himself as Jenkins' grandson.
