
The Alameda County Sheriff's Office has confirmed that Luis Moreno-Zuniga, the 30-year-old man reported missing last December 13, has been found. The Sheriff's Office utilized its social media channels to announce the update, providing a brief X post that simply read "LOCATED," offering a succinct conclusion to the urgent search initiated earlier.

Before the announcement, concerns were high for Moreno-Zuniga, who had vanished from Villa Fairmont Hospital in San Leandro. Descriptions provided by the Alameda County Sheriff's Office detailed him as a Hispanic male, between 5' 3" and 5' 7", with a lean build and weighing around 140 pounds. In regard to his status, the Sheriff's Office had stated, "Luis is at risk due to a mental health diagnosis. We are all concerned about Luis' safety".
