New 'Cold Beers & Cheeseburgers' Location to Rev Up Gilbert's Dining Scene with Sports, Burgers, and Monthly Car ShowsSource: Google Street View

Cold Beers & Cheeseburgers will be opening a new location at 1026 S Gilbert Rd, taking over the former Route 66-themed 'Famous 66' site. While the exact opening date has not been announced, the community's car shows are expected to continue at the new establishment. "I’m a huge car fan and collector myself," said S. Barrett Rinzler, President & CEO, according to ABC15. "One of the most gratifying aspects of being in this neighborhood has been the car enthusiasts who gather at this site every month. It’s been fantastic to see the car shows happen right here!"

In addition to its focus on cars, the restaurant offers a menu featuring burgers and cold beers. This Gilbert location, like others in the Valley, serves a selection of burgers, beers, and provides a space for patrons to watch sporting events in a casual setting. "We heard our fans, and they want more of what Cold Beers & Cheeseburgers delivers every day of the week: great food, cold beers and the ability to catch their favorite game and other sporting events in friendly, comfortable surroundings," Rinzler remarked in a press statement highlighted by KTAR.

The new location will feature Cold Beers & Cheeseburgers, while also maintaining elements from the former Famous 66. Patrons will still be able to enjoy custom ice cream shakes and cookie sandwiches at the Shake & Bake counter, which has been carried over. The car shows, a regular event at the site, will continue on the first Tuesday of each month, with the next event scheduled for January 7. "We’re building on the good times we’ve already established here and wrapping it with our popular Cold Beers & Cheeseburgers experience, just in time for the new year," Rinzler shared in an interview with KTAR.

The expansion reflects the brand's growth, with the Gilbert Town Square location becoming the 18th in Arizona, extending its reach to Dallas-Fort Worth. Since its launch in Scottsdale in 2011, the restaurant has attracted sports fans and families, with its most recent location opening in Surprise earlier this year.
