The New Orleans Police Department is currently investigating a deadly incident that took the life of an adult male in the 7900 block of Bullard Avenue. The case, which is being treated as a homicide, occurred yesterday, as reported by NOPD News. Police responded to a call about a medical emergency at approximately 2:09 p.m. Upon their arrival, they discovered the victim unresponsive inside a residence. Emergency Medical Services were called to the scene and the victim was pronounced dead shortly thereafter.
Investigations have begun to rigorously piece together the circumstances surrounding the death. Authorities have yet to disclose the cause or manner of death, stating only that the individual is a victim of homicide. As investigations continue to unfold, detectives are working to both identify whoever may be responsible and to understand why this violent act was carried out.
