Authorities are currently searching for Jalil Williams, described as a Black male, born on July 14, 1996, in connection with the murder. The New Orleans Police Department is seeking him on charges of second-degree murder. At the scene, the unresponsive individual was discovered lying in the road at around 12:19 p.m. and was transported to the hospital by EMS where he later succumbed to his injuries. The Orleans Parish Coroner has identified the deceased as 35-year-old Adam Brown.
The New Orleans Police Department informed that the investigation led to Williams being identified as the alleged shooter, linking the fatal event to an attempted armed robbery gone awry.
