
The Household Hazardous Waste Collection Center in Oklahoma City, located at 1621 S Portland Ave, will be closed on Friday next week for maintenance. It will reopen on Saturday, according to an announcement from the City of Oklahoma.
The center handles a variety of hazardous household items to keep the city clean and safe. This includes things like leftover gasoline, antifreeze, car batteries (whether used or unused), and strong household chemicals that shouldn't be thrown away. The center's regular hours are Tuesday through Friday, from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
