A fatal shooting occurred at a Guadalupe apartment complex on Thursday afternoon, leaving one person dead and two others wounded. The incident, which unfolded near Pointe Parkway and Guadalupe Road, was first reported to authorities around 4 p.m. based on a call that shots had been fired, FOX 10 Phoenix reports.
Upon arrival at the scene, Phoenix Police Department discovered a male victim on the ground who had suffered a gunshot wound, he was pronounced dead at the scene, according to 12News. Two additional victims, a man and a woman, were found with injuries and transported to the hospital for treatment, officials said, their conditions are expected to be stable.
Detectives are now investigating the case, and while a firearm was discovered at the crime scene, Phoenix Police Department have not yet confirmed if the wounded individuals were also shot nor the circumstances leading up to the incident, as per 12 News.
