After the shooting, a peculiar scene unfolded. According to News 4, the alleged shooter, immediately afterward jumped out of a window and sought refuge at a neighbor's house, a detail which the Logan County Sheriff Damon Devereaux confirmed. He elucidated that upon the deputies' arrival, they "made contact with the person that had been shot," and that "The roommate was also there on scene.
