Phoenix commuters faced significant delays earlier this week when an overturned semi-truck blocked multiple lanes on Loop 202 South Mountain Freeway. FOX 10 Phoenix reported that the incident occurred near the Buckeye Road junction and included the HOV lane among the obstructions.

Three lanes, including the HOV lane, were blocked for several hours due to a semi-truck that had rolled over onto its side in the southbound lanes. "The freeway has since reopened," as stated by FOX 10 Phoenix.
Further details from ABC15 revealed that just after 3 p.m., a commercial truck with an attached crane was involved in the crash, its driver reporting that a sudden and unforeseen locking up of the brakes led to the loss of control and consequent rollover.
Fortunately, the driver sustained only minor injuries and did not require hospitalization, as per ABC15.
