On March 10, a crime occurred near 19th and Southern avenues in Phoenix, where Ayers was killed. In a separate case, on January 4, the body of an unidentified young woman, believed to be between 16-23 years old and Hispanic, was found near 51st Avenue and Broadway Road. Both her identity and the identity of her assailant are unknown, and Silent Witness is offering up to $2,000 for information in her case. Silent Witness aims to provide closure by encouraging citizens to come forward with helpful leads, as reported by ABC15.
JoAnn Dudek, who disappeared in 2022 following a violent altercation at her Anthem home, is now the subject of a homicide investigation by the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office. After two years of uncertainty, her family believes she did not survive the night of the incident. "We have reason to believe that she did not make it out of that house alive that night," said her niece, Erin Murtha. While her remains have not been found, the family is focused on finding answers, and Silent Witness is offering a reward for any information that could help solve the case.
