Pima County has officially launched a fresh career website on Monday, aiming to streamline the job search and application process for its residents. Dubbed Workday, the new platform is part of an overall upgrade to the county's financial and employment systems, affecting various administrative functions including payroll and personnel training, according to Pima County's newsroom.

Job seekers in the region can now browse and apply for positions using the user-friendly interface, with all new opportunities posted on Workday beginning on Monday, the county's current NeoGov job site will still host open positions until they are filled, allowing candidates to finish any applications already in progress but meanwhile, they will have to contend with navigating between two systems. The new site also offers job alerts, simplifying the job search by notifying users about openings that match their specified interests.

People who previously set up profiles on NeoGov will need to create new accounts on Workday.

Cathy Bohland, the director of Pima County's Human Resources Department, championed the adoption of Workday. "With a modern, user-friendly application process, job seekers can easily search for and apply for opportunities, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience from start to finish," Bohland conveyed her confidence in a statement obtained by Pima County's newsroom. "This innovative system is designed to simplify the recruitment journey, creating a positive and engaging experience that reflects Pima County's commitment to attracting top talent."
