Pima County Economic Development staff took a seat at the table with over 75 Japanese businesses last month, aiming to tighten economic bonds and explore new trade roads.
The delegation, hosted by the Arizona Commerce Authority (ACA) on November 15, included businesses rooted both in the desert landscape of Arizona and in Japan, as reported by Pima County.
This gathering, brought into being with collaboration from Jetro LA and the Consulate General of Japan in Los Angeles, opened doors for conversations centering on foreign direct investment (FDI). It was "a perfect opportunity to make connections with FDI opportunities and to meet and make new friends!" according to a statement from Pima County.
