The victims, a male and female, both from Pittsfield were treated at Berkshire Medical Center, where they are expected to recover, the male victim, however sustained more serious wounds.

Frusciente, who was arraigned in Central Berkshire District Court on the following day, Thursday, is reported to have been acquainted with the victims. The nature of their relationship has not been detailed in the reports made available.
