A man was fatally shot around midnight in the Bevo neighborhood of south St. Louis, the incident took place near Gravois Avenue and Eichelberger Street, FOX2Now reports. The St. Louis Metropolitan Police have begun investigating the circumstances that led to the shooting, however, as of now they have not confirmed if any arrests have been made.
In the wake of the incident, the Homicide Unit has been called upon to lead the probe into the overnight shooting, situated in the 5400 block of Gravois Avenue, as shared by First Alert 4. Unfortunately, the victim, a man whose identity has not been disclosed pending notification of next of kin, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police responded to the shooting shortly after the incident occurred and discovered the man who had succumbed to his injuries, as noted by KSDK. The Homicide Division, taking charge of the investigation, has yet to release further details concerning the shooting or any potential suspects.
