A Portland man, Derrick James Bonn, has been arrested by Washington County Sheriff's Office on charges of public indecency in connection with a series of incidents targeting women in the Cooper Mountain area of Aloha, Oregon. The 36-year-old Bonn, a newspaper delivery man, is linked to at least ten incidents that took place between October and December, according to KATU.
Reports indicate that Bonn's approach involved exiting his vehicle, a maroon 2004 Ford Focus hatchback with Oregon plates, and confronting women or appearing at their windows to expose himself while performing lewd acts, this pattern was repeated over the course of the investigated events leading to an intensive search by authorities and Bonn's subsequent arrest last Friday, which was a mission aimed at preventing further violations, as reported by KGW.
While initially charged with two counts of public indecency, officials anticipate additional charges as the investigation continues to unfold. The majority of the incidents took place early in the morning, targeting women who were either inside their home or participating in outdoor activities such as walking or jogging, KPTV notes.
