
The Portland Police Bureau has identified two Oregon brothers, Evan C. Hadlock, 31, of Rainier, and David C. Hadlock, 32, of St. Helens, who died in a crash on Southwest Barbur Boulevard on Wednesday. The two were in a Honda Civic when it collided with a Toyota Sienna van. These fatalities bring the total number of traffic-related deaths in Portland to 62 and 63 for the year, according to the Portland Police Bureau.
The driver of the Honda Civic, Evan C. Hadlock, may have been drunk, according to the investigation. No arrests have been made yet. One person in the Civic was seriously injured, but the driver of the Toyota Sienna wasn't hurt. The crash led to road closures on Southwest Barbur Boulevard and Southwest Terwilliger Boulevard. Emergency calls were made at around 9:21 p.m. on Wednesday, and the injured were taken to the hospital. Unfortunately, two people later died. The families of the Hadlock brothers have been informed, as reported by the Portland Police Bureau.
