According to the Portland Police Bureau, the incident transpired last night, when officers responded promptly to the scene at Northwest 5th Avenue and Northwest Everett Street after reports of shots fired around 10:14 p.m.

The suspects had fled, and the officers had to fan out to capture and locate them quickly. Several blocks away, authorities detained the suspect, Christopher Jude Weber, also known as Christopher Jude McClain, 37, on a myriad of charges including weapons and drug offenses.
