The victim, identified as 67-year-old Steven Bacon, was located in his residence near Whipple Street and Miller Valley Road after police were called to perform a welfare check. Attempts to revive Bacon proved unsuccessful, and he was pronounced dead at the scene, according to ABC15.
As reported by ABC15, authorities arrived at the home following concerns for the individual’s well-being, as he had not been heard from. Despite life-saving efforts, the circumstances surrounding Bacon’s demise remain unclear, with further details on what may have led to his death not immediately provided. The Prescott Police Department is actively seeking information from the public that could shed light on this case.
Complementing this call for public assistance, the Prescott Times elaborates that the incident took place in the 900 block of Fair Street. The call that initially prompted police response soon escalated into a medical emergency upon the discovery of Bacon, unresponsive in his residence.
