
Authorities in Puyallup, Washington, are on the hunt for two individuals believed to be minors following a shooting incident involving a Pierce County Transit bus. The Puyallup Police Department reported that on the evening of Sunday, gunfire struck the vehicle, although no injuries were sustained. The incident occurred when there was an altercation involving three people as they were exiting the bus in downtown Puyallup, FOX13 Seattle reported.
While the bus was hit by multiple bullets as it pulled away from the scene, thankfully, none of the passengers aboard were harmed. There is an ongoing effort to determine how many individuals were on the bus at the time of the incident, according to KING 5 News. It remains unclear what led to the altercation, or the motivation behind the gunfire.
In an attempt to track down the suspects, the Puyallup Police Department has called upon residents for assistance. The PPD has asked locals to review surveillance footage from the relevant time of the shooting or to report if they saw anything amiss in the area. "Residents in the area are asked to check any surveillance cameras in the approximate timeframe of this incident, or if they witnessed anything suspicious in the area during this timeframe," the police department said, as stated by KOMO News.
