This weekend, Queen Creek is hosting its QC Hometown Christmas event, presented by Earnhardt Queen Creek Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram. The community can enjoy a variety of activities on Friday and Saturday, according to the Queen Creek Town.
On Friday, the Queen Creek Library & Recreation Annex will host a holiday event from 6 to 8 p.m. with entertainment, activities like decorating ornaments in Santa’s workshop, and photos with Santa. The tree lighting will be at 7 p.m., followed by food trucks. Shuttles will be available from Desert Mountain Park due to limited parking. On Saturday, the "A Storybook Christmas" parade will take place from 10 a.m. to noon, traveling down Ellsworth Road from Maya to Aldecoa. There will be temporary road closures from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. along parts of Ellsworth and Ocotillo Roads, as stated by the Queen Creek Town.
