Ramsey residents are lighting up the night and vying for the title of the best holiday light display. The spirited competition, dubbed the City of Ramsey's Deck the House Lights Contest, is in full swing, inviting everyone to get out and see the shining spectacles crafted by their community members. According to a social media post by the City of Ramsey, families are encouraged to take a drive through this winter wonderland and cast their vote for their favorite display.
An interactive map is available on the City's website for route planning to experience the dazzling displays. Residents and visitors have until December 22 to participate in this merry tradition. "Please only one submission per household," the City of Ramsey's announcement cautions, warning that duplicate votes will be disqualified.
For those looking to have their holiday efforts recognized, or merely to appreciate the handiwork of their neighbors, this contest represents a moment of collective joy and creativity, a connection forged through strings of lights and the silent competition that comes but once a year. The City's post makes it clear all are welcome to join in the celebration, saying, "Load the family in the car and hunt for fantastic light displays throughout the City."
