Attention, Norman residents: If you plan to travel through Cherry Stone Street next week, please be aware of an upcoming detour. The Norman Utilities Authority has announced that sewer line replacement work will be conducted on Cherry Stone Street between S. Berry Road and McGee Street, according to the City of Norman website.
The sewer line replacement will begin tomorrow with the goal of completing it by Wednesday. Local traffic will still be able to access the area from either end of the closure; through traffic will be blocked just past Hollywood Avenue.
For any questions or concerns about the construction, residents can contact Ken Giannone, the Capital Projects Engineer, at 405-366-5443.
