If you find yourself behind bars, the Municipal Court Jail Call is set for today, at the Clarke County Jail. For hearings scheduled today, note that the Juvenile Courtroom will be the venue, as they will not be conducted in their regular location. And for those expecting to stand in court on Thursday, December 12, there won't be a gavel in sound, as no Municipal Court is scheduled.
The following week, from December 16 to December 20, sees more adjustments. The Athens-Clarke County Government notification detailed that arraignments for Monday, December 16 and Wednesday, December 18 are canceled. Once more, the Tuesday of that week, December 17, a Jail Call will take place at the Clarke County Jail. The usual Tuesday trials, however, will not be held as they are also canceled.
For those scheduled for arraignments on Thursday, December 19, you'll be back in the familiar Municipal Courtroom. Finally, if you're handling parking arraignments on Friday, December 20, the procedure has a slight twist — make sure to check in at the Municipal Court Clerk’s window upon arrival. These cases won't convene in the typical courtroom setting.
