
San Jose authorities were dispatched, responding to a case of domestic violence where a firearm discharge was reported on Clayton Road on Thursday evening, as per the San José Police Department's latest social media update.
The incident, which saw both domestic violence and assault with a deadly weapon, was escalated when the police’s air support, notably the helicopter Air 3, offered critical intelligence to the officers. It allowed them to spot a male suspect who was then seen fleeing the scene in a vehicle, according to the San Jose Police Department. Officers succeeded in locating and pulling over the suspect, apprehending him without further confrontation.

A subsequent search of the residence, backed by a court-issued warrant, led to the seizure of multiple privately manufactured firearms. Details regarding the exact number and type of firearms or the charges faced by the suspect were not immediately available.
