In a recent operation to swiftly address community concerns, San Jose Police Department officers stationed in the Western Division have made a notable bust. According to a social media post from the San Jose Police Department, officers cracked down on drug activity involving an abandoned recreational vehicle (RV) without identifiable markings.
At the end of last month, Officers were working a Western Division Crime Suppression assignment to address quality of life issues in the area. Officers learned that drug dealing was occurring from abandoned recreational vehicles (RV) parked in the area.

Diligently working their beat, officers encountered the RV, conspicuously devoid of a license plate or a VIN. The officers decided to make contact with the male occupant inside quickly. An investigation led to unraveling the man's status: he was on probation. From here, the officers conducted a probation search of the premises, which unfurled a stash of drugs and cash large enough to signal a clear intent to distribute.
The stash included "large amounts of methamphetamine consistent with sales, fentanyl, large amounts of cash and other drug paraphernalia," according to the San Jose Police Department's report.
