According to a report by the Boston Police Department (BPD), District A-1 officers were there to oversee Santa's safe arrival from the skies above.
Landing amongst the throngs gathered to welcome him, Santa, escorted by the BPD, kicked off his mission to deliver joy throughout Boston's neighborhoods. A statement from BPD informed the public that, sipping cocoa or singing carols, Santa's presence symbolizes the essence of joy and community during this time of year.
The initiative not only celebrated the holiday season but also showed Boston's law enforcement's commitment to community engagement.
