Flashing lights, synthpop music, and big hair – the Smyrna Community Center is hosting an 80's-themed Daddy-Daughter Dance. The event, set for February 7, from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm, invites fathers and daughters to enjoy a night of nostalgia.
According to an announcement from the City of Smyrna, dads and daughters, dressed in 80's fashion, will dance to classic hits. The event is for daughters aged 0-12, with a registration fee of $60 per couple and an additional $15 for each extra sibling.
The registration opens on January 6. The Daddy-Daughter Dance provides an opportunity for fathers and daughters to bond while creating new memories.
