Starting from the day after Christmas and extending to Saturday, January 4, 2025, residents and visitors alike can avail themselves of the complimentary transportation option, exclusively operating from Broudy's Lot at the corner of US 1 and W. King St., with service times from 1:00 pm to 11:00 pm, the City of St. Augustine announced.
The shuttle endeavors to ease congestion in historied streets where past and present collide, however, it's notable that the service will not be operational from other customary locations such as the Health Department or 301 San Marco Ave, so riders should plan accordingly for their commutes back to homes steeped in yuletide gatherings and celebrations. The designated drop-off and pick-up point for shuttle passengers is readily found at the Visitor Information Center's north drive-through lane, at 10 S. Castillo Drive.
Those accustomed to the convenience of the St. Augustine STAR Circulator will need to adjust their travel plans as well, as this service will adhere to a modified schedule during the holiday season. Operating hours will be curtailed to 10:00 am to 5:00 pm starting November 23 through Sunday, January 5, 2025, before the STAR Circulator resumes its regular activity with extended hours from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm next Monday, January 6, 2025, granting wayfarers more flexibility in their holiday itinerary.
