A 17-year-old male was shot in the chest at a large party last month around 10:00 p.m. in the 800 block of Russell. According to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, first responders arrived at the scene, where many juveniles were present, but few provided information, hindering the investigation.
Many partygoers were uncooperative, offering little information about the shooter. District 3 officers provided first aid before the injured juvenile was taken to the hospital in critical condition. Investigators found many shell casings at the scene.
Detectives are seeking the public's help to identify the suspects responsible for the shooting and have released their photos. The suspects are considered armed and dangerous.
