The Missing Persons Unit of the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department is reaching out to the community for assistance in locating 26-year-old Daja Lucas, who has been missing since December 17. Lucas, who suffers from mental health conditions, was last seen around 11 a.m. on the day of her disappearance in the 3700 block of Texas, according to a report by the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department.
An important detail to note is that Daja may be reluctant to provide her real name if approached. She was last spotted standing on a porch in the 2800 block of Lemp. The police have provided photos of the clothing she was believed to be wearing—a black nightgown and blue-green socks. These pictures can be crucial in helping members of the public identify her.
Additionally, Daja Lucas is recognizable by distinctive tattoos; she has one with the name "Timothy" on her right bicep and another on her chest bearing the name "Mike". Concerned individuals who might encounter someone matching Daja's description are strongly encouraged to act by calling 911.
As the search continues, the community's vigilance remains a critical component in aiding the efforts to find Daja Lucas. The hope is that with public assistance, she will be returned home to safety. The police reiterate that anyone who sees Daja is urged to contact 911 immediately.
