St. Peters is kicking off the holiday season with its 35th annual Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony on Dec. 6, 2024, at 6:30 p.m. This year, the event will be held indoors at City Hall.
According to the City of St. Peters announcement, the event will feature a countdown led by the Mayor and Board of Aldermen, along with a special appearance by Santa Claus. Children will enjoy the festive lights and the holiday spirit indoors.
Musical guests will include the Childbloom Guitar Program, performing acoustic holiday classics, and The Butch Wax Singers, who will carol throughout the evening. The "Holiday Hop" will follow, featuring Butch Wax and The Hollywoods. Attendees can also explore St. Peters' new Recycling Cart program through interactive games and win prizes, as per the same announcement.
The event will also satisfy your taste buds, with the Travelin' Toms Coffee Truck serving hot chocolate and coffee for purchase.
