On Sunday, the first annual "Heroes and Helpers" event unfolded through the collaborative efforts of law enforcement and the devoted staff at the local Target. The celebration was a mixture of joy and community outreach, encapsulating the season's ethos of giving and sharing.
The Suffolk County Sheriff's Department shared on social media about a partnership formed to support children in the Revere Public School District from struggling families. Revere Police, Revere Fire, and the Massachusetts State Police joined forces to serve pizza and organize a Christmas shopping trip at Target.
The success of this first event shows more than just the effort of local heroes in uniform. Revere Target staff also joined in, bringing a spirit of service to every interaction.
