Yesterday morning, a violent robbery unfolded in Southwest Atlanta, resulting in a male victim suffering a gunshot wound. According to the Atlanta Police Department, the incident occurred around 5:51am at 552 Hiawassee Dr SW. The victim was shot while riding an electric bike and subsequently robbed by two masked assailants who fled the scene in a white sedan.
The police arrived swiftly after the incident and found the wounded man, who was quickly provided medical attention by Grady EMS and taken to the hospital. While he was riding his electric bike, the preliminary investigation suggests that the assault was at the hands of two masked males. They not only shot the man but also took off with his electric bike and backpack.
