
A 17-year-old boy was wounded in a drive-by shooting. The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department's District 4 confirmed that the teen was near the intersection of 9th & Carr Streets when shots rang out at approximately 4:30 p.m. yesterday.
The victim, who has remained unnamed, was struck in the thigh during the incident. He was subsequently taken to a local hospital for private treatment. The circumstances under which he found himself in the line of fire remain unclear, and according to the SLMPD's report, the young man has been reluctant to provide details, leaving the investigators with little to go on.
