Karter Riach, the Marketing Manager, shared the excitement: "We're running about 11 days later than normal as far as our opening goes. So, everyone's been eagerly awaiting this season, season start, the season opener, and so we're ready to go. We want to get everyone out on the slopes as soon as possible," as stated by KOMO News.
Admittedly, the delay has caused some dismay among the winter sports circle, but with snow finally at optimal levels for shredding, the wait appears to be over. The hours of operation for Summit West are set in a powder-packed schedule, running from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. all week, ensuring ample time for enthusiasts to carve their first tracks of the season, as reported by KOMO News.
This year, The Summit at Snoqualmie has introduced a new parking policy. All vehicles parking in lots operated by the resort will need a valid parking permit. The change is designed to improve the parking experience as more visitors are expected this season. With the resort opening soon, guests are encouraged to secure their parking permits in advance. The Summit, located near Seattle, offers a variety of terrain for skiers and snowboarders of all levels, according to KIRO 7.
