A holiday celebration among coworkers at a local Irish pub in Lake Worth Beach turned tragic this December, with the death toll now climbing to three. The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office confirmed that the third victim, Reginald Gordon, aged 50, died from injuries sustained during a shooting that occurred at The Rock Irish Pub on Dec. 11, WPTV reports.
Initial reports suggested that the incident occurred after a Christmas party, which employees of the Old Key Lime House continued at the said pub. The PBSO, responding to the scene just before 1 a.m. on the night of the shooting, found two individuals, Christopher Allen, 33, and Steven Stratis, 24, dead upon arrival. Reginald Gordon, among the two who were critically injured, was rushed to St. Mary's Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries over two weeks later, as stated by the CBS12 report.
Morey Pinard III is currently facing two counts of second-degree murder with a firearm and two counts of attempted second-degree murder with a firearm. Another individual, Michael Vititoe, is charged with simple battery and accessory after the fact of a homicide. Information regarding the argument that led to the shooting is still sparse. The Old Key Lime House, where Gordon worked for 20 years as a kitchen manager, expressed their grief on Facebook following the incident.
According to an interview given by Ryan Cordero, the owner of Old Key Lime House to CBS 12, "After a night of celebrating Christmas with each other enjoying all of the fruits of life and the good times, and then this absolute tragedy happens. Some vile monster," said Ryan Cordero. "The person who did this is a vile monster?" they asked. "Absolutely, he killed 2 innocent people," Cordero answered.
