According to MassLive, the Groveland Police and Fire Departments responded to an overturned truck that had traveled approximately 100 feet from the roadway. Detective Danielle Burrill of the Groveland Police Department successfully extracted the driver, while the passenger required hydraulic cutting tools, operated by Groveland Fire with assistance from the Georgetown Fire Department.

Both the victims were subsequently transported to Lawrence General Hospital for evaluations. The cooperative efforts of the police and fire departments proved to be critical in safely rescuing the victims.
