Now, if you're looking to deepen your artistic escapades or possibly impress a date with your clay-throwing skills, 'Happy Hour at the Art Center' might be just the ticket. For a modest $30/session, you can get your hands dirty with activities ranging from Mystery Art Project to Ceramic Jewelry. Sessions run on selected Fridays and they're a perfect fit for those aged 21 plus. With themes like 'Clay for Couples – Try the Wheel' on Feb. 14, you might just find love in a messy place.
Not ready to commit to an entire session? The Try Art! program lets you dabble without the pressure of creating a masterpiece. For $25 a session, try everything from watercolor painting to graphic novels. It's a great way to experiment with different media and discover where your talents lie or just have a blast messing around with materials.
