Motorists in St. Louis should prepare for a weekend detour as bridge work causes the temporary closure of Ladue Road under I-270. Crews will install girders for the ongoing bridge expansion, closing the road starting tomorrow evening.
The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) announced that the closure will begin at 8 p.m. tomorrow, and last until Monday morning. Eastbound drivers can use Interstate 64 and Ballas Road as an alternative, while westbound drivers can take Olive Boulevard and Coeur de Ville Drive.
Interstate 270 drivers will not be affected by the closure, and traffic will continue smoothly above Ladue Road. The closure will end before Monday’s rush hour.
The Missouri Department of Transportation has provided detour routes for east and westbound drivers. Eastbound drivers should take I-64, exit at Ballas Road, and head north to rejoin Ladue Road. Westbound drivers will need to go north on I-270, then follow Olive Boulevard, Woodcrest Executive Drive, and Coeur de Ville Drive to reach Ladue.
