A 13-year-old boy was robbed at gunpoint in St. Louis' Gravois Park on the 3600 block of Nebraska just before 8:30 p.m. The boy was sent to retrieve items from his family's car when he was confronted by a suspect dressed in all black and wearing a ski mask, according to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department.
The suspect, armed with a firearm, demanded the car keys from the 13-year-old, who handed them over in fear for his safety. The suspect, along with three others waiting in an alley, fled in the victim’s Black Mazda M3. The car's owner, the boy's father, reported the theft to authorities.
District 3 detectives are investigating the robbery, but details about the suspects are limited. The St. Louis Metro PD is asking the public for help in identifying those responsible.
