A 15-year-old male juvenile has been charged with multiple felony counts, including armed robbery and aggravated vehicular hijacking, as announced by the Chicago Police Department.
The juvenile was apprehended by the Vehicular Hijacking Task Force on Monday and is accused of having stolen a vehicle at gunpoint, along with other belongings from a 35-year-old male. The incident reportedly occurred less than 90 minutes before the arrest, in the 4400 block of S. Keating Ave. in the city's 8th District. The arrest took place in the 3600 block of W. 79th Pl. Chicago Police Department reports that the charges also include receiving, possessing, or selling a stolen vehicle, and aggravated unlawful possession of a weapon by a person under 21 years of age.
