A fatal head-on collision in Cobb County on Wednesday afternoon killed an Acworth man. The crash, involving a 2021 BMW M3 and a 2019 Ford Transit, occurred on Hickory Grove Road, east of Carina Drive, according to Atlanta News First.
At 3:05 p.m., 40-year-old Christopher Johnston was driving his BMW eastbound when it crossed into the opposite lane. The car collided head-on with a westbound Ford, as both FOX 5 Atlanta and Atlanta News First have reported.
One driver, Johnston, died from injuries after a crash, while the other driver’s injuries are not fatal. Cobb County Selective Traffic Enforcement Program Unit are investigating and ask anyone with information to call 770-499-3987, citing case number 25004468, as stated by FOX 5 Atlanta.
