
The Antioch Police Department is currently on the hunt for a suspect involved in a fatal hit-and-run accident that claimed the life of an unidentified female pedestrian. The incident occurred yesterday at about 6:08 p.m. along the 3000 block of Wilbur Avenue, according to the Antioch Police Department.
Emergency services rushed to the scene following reports of the collision and found the woman unresponsive. Despite efforts by paramedics to save her, she was pronounced dead. The driver had left the scene before the officers arrived, and the identity remains unknown. Traffic investigators are delving into the cause of the accident, which remains undetermined at this stage of the investigation.
