Local residents who wish to vote in the upcoming March 29 Municipal Primary Election must register by February 26, according to Dwayne Wall, the Registrar of Voters.
As per the St. Tammany Parish Government website, voters can register in-person at either the Covington office (601 N. Jefferson Ave.) or the Slidell Office (520 Old Spanish Trail Suite 2F) from 8:00 A.M. to 4:30 P.M., though the Slidell office will be closed for lunch from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M.
For those who prefer online registration, the deadline is March 8. Mail-in registration applications must be received or postmarked by the February 26 deadline. These dates were shared on the official government website, stpgov.org, on January 29, 2025, giving residents time to prepare.
