Atlanta Firefighters Successfully Extinguish NW House Blaze, No Injuries Reported

Atlanta firefighters were called to the scene of a house fire early this morning. The fire was reported near Hollywood Road NW, on the 2300 block of St. James Drive NW, with the first alerts coming in around 3 a.m. According to a statement obtained by FOX 5 Atlanta, firefighters managed to quell the blaze and prevented injuries while ensuring the safety of the residents.

Atlanta Fire Rescue personnel were swift in confronting the house fire, having received the notification from a 911 dispatch at 3:15 a.m. At the address, 2387 St. James Drive NW, a two-story structure was being consumed by flames, which shaped the early morning's response. Anaré Holmes, Atlanta Fire Rescue Public Information Officer, indicated that everyone exited the house safely and no injuries were reported to the residents, as reported by WSB-TV.

As of now, the cause of the fire remains under investigation. Teams on the scene began looking into the possible origins as soon as the flames were controlled and the area deemed safe. This methodical approach ensures that not only is the immediate danger curtailed, but also a recurrence can be prevented.
