Calling all young artists in Avondale – it's your time to shine at the Avondale Public Library's 2025 Bookmark Contest. If you're a student from kindergarten through 12th grade residing or studying in Avondale, this is a golden opportunity to let your creativity loose. The library is looking for original bookmark designs that will be seen and used by the reading community, as reported by the City of Avondale.
Grabbing your chance in the spotlight has never been easier. Submissions are open from now until February 28, 2025. You can snag an entry form at either Avondale Public Library branch or bypass the trip entirely by downloading it straight from their site at www.AvondaleLibrary.org/BookmarkContest. Just remember, walking through the doors of the library with your one original artwork submission, only a single entry per participant will give you a shot at local fame.
The competition heats up as the winners will not only gain bragging rights but also see their designs professionally printed and distributed within the library system.
