The Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale 2025 auto auction, a nine-day extravaganza for car aficionados, is revving up for a high-octane event set to kick off at WestWorld of Scottsdale. According to Phoenix New Times, this year's showcase will feature over 1,000 vehicles, including a mix of luxury, vintage, rare, and high-performance machines waiting for the highest bidder to claim them. Expect to see everything from a screen-used Batmobile to a special rig DeLorean, reminiscent of the time machine from "Back to the Future."
For those willing to splurge, and even for the ones just eager to spectate, Sammy Hagar & Friends are billed to set the stage on fire at the Rock the Block party on January 17. The lineup of cars for sale is no less stellar, boasting a 1955 Chevrolet Nomad Custom Wagon previously owned by Bruce Willis and a duo of custom Chevrolet Corvettes, as detailed by AZ Central. Actor Milo Ventimiglia's motorcycles are also among the star-studded list of vehicles set to cross the auction block.
The automotive bash will run daily from Saturday, through January 26, with tickets accessible through the official Barrett-Jackson website. Prices for the entry vary per day, with special rates for military, first responders, students, and seniors. A full slate of tickets and discounts can be found on the event's page, and of course, youngsters 5 and under are welcomed free each day.
On-site amenities will not disappoint either, with a food court promising a variety of vendors. For those worried about the logistics of getting to the venue, fret not; shuttles from parking lots nearby will ferry attendees to and from the main gate, and for those preferring a touch of luxury, valet parking is an option, as illustrated in the Phoenix New Times guide.
"From one of the most diverse dockets filled with vehicles for every type of collector to thrill rides in the latest sports cars, trucks and SUVs from the world’s top manufacturers, we will ring in 2025 the Barrett-Jackson way," said Steve Davis, president of Barrett-Jackson, in a statement obtained by AZ Central. The event promises not only the chance to bid on coveted vehicles but also an automotive lifestyle experience complete with live music, BMX stunt shows, and a chance for ample people-watching.
