According to a social media announcement from the City of Blaine's government, Austin Park, Olympia Park, and Ivy Hills are the lucky recipients of the makeover — a refreshing splash of modernity that is long overdue. It seems playtime is about to level up for Blaine's sprouts.
The current playground gear has reached its maturity, with their 15-year warranties stretching into the 18-20 year bracket — a testament to superior maintenance but also a nudge towards inevitable replacement to ensure safety and neighborhood aesthetics, as per the City of Blaine.
"This year three playgrounds in Blaine will be replaced. Our partners at North Metro TV have a great preview of the new equipment coming in 2025," the City of Blaine stated.
