Last holiday season, officers from District B-2 in Roxbury, along with local organizations, worked together to support families in need. This effort was part of a larger initiative to build stronger connections between the police and the community, according to the Boston Police Department.
The Boston Police Department teamed up with volunteers and community partners to organize a holiday food drive. They packed and delivered meals to local families, helping ensure they had food to enjoy during the holiday
The food drive is a good example of how community and police can work together to build trust. This effort is a clear example of "building connections, fostering trust, and working hand in hand to uplift our neighbors during the holidays," as stated by the Boston Police Department.
